Music Ministry
Our choir meets every Wednesday at 7PM to practice and welcomes singers of all ages to join! Our desire is for the members of the choir to develop a close knit community as they lead worship through praising the Lord together. Throughout the year the choir will have times of fellowship with each other outside of their regularly scheduled rehearsals. If you have a love of music and praising the Lord through song, we welcome and encourage you to join our choir!
Beginning 09/11/24 we will have our Children’s Choir for Pre-K to 5th grade in the main building choir room on Wednesdays at 5:15pm before our Wednesday Night supper begins at 6pm. The goal of this time is to teach our young children the truths of scripture through music and cultivate a love of singing songs to the Lord.
Upcoming Choir Events
On Sunday, September 29th at 5PM, our choir invites you to join us for a Gospel Night! Afterwards we will have a fish fry with hush puppies/french fries and ice cream to for dessert!! So mark your calendars and come on out for this evening of praising the Lord through music!
Our annual Christmas Cantata will be held on Sunday December 15th. During this event, our choir leads us in worship through numerous Christmas songs. Afterwards our congregation enjoys finger foods and a time of fellowship together! If you love to sing and would like to be apart of our cantata, please get in touch with our church office and Dr. Long (662)-534-6060. All are invited to come out and enjoy this evening of remembering our Savior’s birth!
